TL;DR
- 3% on eligible groceries, dining, entertainment and streaming.
- Check the exact product: current SavorOne has a $39 fee; current Savor has no annual fee.
- Use a better base-rate card for spending that earns only 1%.
New here? How to read these guides
Start with the earning table and TL;DR. Then check who the card fits, a spending example and how to redeem. Compare the live offer before applying.
- Cash back
- A percentage back on eligible spending. 3% on $100 = $3.
- Points / miles
- 2X means 2 points per $1 spent. It does not automatically mean 2% back. Each program has different redemption values.
- Welcome bonus / SUB
- Extra rewards for meeting an offer's spending requirement by its deadline. SUB means sign-up bonus.
- Churning
- Opening cards for welcome bonuses. Start with one card you can manage, not a pile of applications. Fees, interest and overspending can erase the upside.
- Transfer
- Moving rewards to an airline or hotel program. Often a one-way move.
The first rule: pay your statement balance in full. Interest can wipe out the rewards.
Who this card is for
Food and entertainment make up a lot of your budget. But check which card you have: an older SavorOne account is not automatically the same as today's $39 SavorOne offer.
Capital One also offers a $0-fee Savor with the same core 3% categories and different eligibility. Compare that before paying for SavorOne.
What that earns in real life
Illustration: $400 on eligible groceries plus $200 on dining earns $18. Another $200 outside bonus categories earns $2. Total: $20 before any annual fee.
How to use the rewards
Redeem cash back if you want the easy option. If you also hold Venture X, check your account's rewards-transfer options and conversion rate before planning around miles.
Move rewards only when the travel use beats keeping cash. Do not open a second card just to make the first one useful.
Before you apply
Check your exact account terms, fee and offer. Do not copy a bonus or portal rate from a different Savor product.
Merchant categories control the earn rate. Check a posted transaction before routing a big purchase through this card. Warehouse shopping is not automatically grocery spending.
Pay your statement balance in full. Interest can cost more than the rewards you earn.

Is SavorOne the same as Savor?
Don’t assume so. Product names, fees, and eligibility vary across current offers and older accounts. Use the terms for the exact card you hold or are applying for.
Can I move SavorOne rewards to Venture X?
Check the rewards options in your Capital One accounts or ask Capital One to confirm eligibility and the conversion rate before relying on that setup.
